New collection of songs largely written and recorded in my garage in small town New Zealand.
I was going for a 'classic' guitar/bass/drums vibe over all with lots of droning feedback.. Somewhat perplexing and annoying for the neighbours most likely but better to my ears than barking dogs and revving V8s..
As a portrait of small town NZ life it is intentionally mid-paced and veers away from ecstatic excess. You could even say its a perverse attempt at making a 'middle of the road' album although you will possibly be relieved to hear that this was not perhaps entirely successful..
